基于内容分析的世界一流大学期刊预警制度探析

BSTRACT Purposes ?In order to deal with the increasingly severe problem of predatory publishing, it is necessary to learn from the practice experience of the world's first-class university journals early warning system, and provide reference for improving the current situation of the academic journals early warning system in China and promoting the construction of scientific research credit system.The advance of open access has promoted the emergence of journal early-warning system to deal with bad publishing behavior in academic ecology. Journal early-warning system construction is still in the initial stage in China, and learning from foreign practical experience is necessary. Methods ?By combining the methods of online research and content analysis, text data on the subject of journal?warning were obtained from the websites of top 50 universities in the QS2022 World University Ranking, and the content analysis of relevant data was carried out based on Grounded Theory. Findings ?The paper construct the element model of the periodical early warning system in the world first-class university, and found that the periodical early warning system in our country is in the initial stage.?There are shortcomings in the journal inspection tools, publishing policies, and disciplinary services. Conclusions ?It is necessary to further improve the periodical early warning system by promoting the inspection tools of academic journals, guiding authors to pay attention to publishing rights, strengthening the review and management of scientific research funds, building the subject service platform of journal early warning, and improving the research evaluation methods.
