fter deforming and extension construction,the three-product dense medium cyclone performed a lower operational capacity in Zichang Coal Preparation Plant ,this affected the normal production of Coal Preparation Plant and caused some economic loss. In this article, separation principle and structure feature of three product dense medium cyclone were told,causes of a lower operational capacity was analysed.After taking measures to improve the wetting form and control the oversize of the feed of three product dense medium cyclone,the question was solved and the capacity rised greatly from 185t/h to 280t/h,meantime,the jam of cyclone solved, therefore working time was decreased and a good economic benefit to the enterprise.
