可见光通信光OFDM技术的性能评估
Performance evaluation of optical OFDM technology for VLC
可见光通信用光强来承载信息,通过光电器件完成电信号与光信号的相互转换,是无线通信领域的一项新兴技术,也是6G的潜在关键技术。针对可见光通信的特点,已提出多种光正交频分复用技术,本文对三种典型的光OFDM技术进行研究,将其与PDSCH的标准流程结合进行链路级仿真,客观评估其性能并进行横向对比。通过仿真验证,在码率以及发射信号的平均功率相同时,ACO-OFDM的SNR-BLER性能与DCO-OFDM基本接近,但DCO-OFDM需要额外消耗功率保证信号为正数,而ACO-OFDM的频率利用率较低。相比ACO-OFDM,LACO-OFDM通过分层提高了频率利用率,但由于各层之间的干扰,SNR相同时,层数越多,系统的BLER越高,性能越差。
s a new technology in wireless communication area, visible light communication (VLC) is a potential key technology of 6G. In VLC, information is carried with light intensity and conversion between electrical signals and optical signals are through photoelectric devices.In view of the characteristics of visible light communication, there are a variety of optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technologies. In this paper, three typical optical OFDM technologies are studied, they are combined with the standard process of PDSCH to complete link-level simulation, and their performance is objectively evaluated and compared with each other. Through thesimulation, this paper finds out that the SNR-BLER performance of DCO-OFDM and ACO-OFDM is basically the same when the code rate and the average power of the transmitted signal are the same. However, DCO-OFDM requires extra power consumption to ensure the positive signal, while ACO-OFDM has a lower frequency utilization rate. Compared with ACO-OFDM, LACO-OFDM improves frequency utilization rate through stratification. However, due to the interference between layers, when SNR is the same, the more layers, the higher BLER and worse performance of the system.
