无线Mesh网络是一种具有容量大、速率高、覆盖范围广等优点的新型无线宽带接入网络。IEEE 802.11i协议被公认为下一代无线网络安全标准,是保障无线网络安全的重要方法,如何将IEEE 802.11i标准与无线Mesh网络有效融合是研究的重点。本文针对无线Mesh网络在认证与接入方面的独特安全要求,详细分析并提出基于EAP-TLS认证协议的适合无线Mesh网络的认证策略。同时,针对混合型Mesh网络的特点,本文对混合型Mesh网络中的骨干区域和客户端区域提出不同的认证策略。最后,本文对该无线Mesh网络认证策略的安全性进行了分析。

Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a novel broad band access network which has the advantages of huge capacity, high speed as well as wide cover range. IEEE 802.11i, which is the most effective technology of wireless network security, is acknowledged as the next generation security protocol of wireless network. How to make IEEE 802.11i run availably in WMN is one of the hottest research points. The paper first analyzes the IEEE 802.1x/EAP-TLS authentication protocol. Facing the specific requirements of WMN's authentication and access control, the paper then proposes a new authentication strategy which based on the EAP-TLS protocol that is adaptable to WMN. Third, this paper proposes different strategies to the infrastructure part and the client part of the hybrid WMN. The last part shows the probable security analysis for implementing these strategies.
