本文主要是介绍一种新的可调电容器的设计。这种可调电容器采用静电驱动金属膜的原理工作,与一般的只有单极板可动的可调电容器相比,这种结构的不同之处在于采用一些复杂的制作工艺,制作出电容两块极板均可动的可调电容器。这种结构包括两层可动金属板,下层金属板上覆盖一层薄的绝缘层,防止两层金属膜发生接触粘连。上下两层可动板之间留有一定厚度的空气隙,金属板在这个区域内可以活动。

he design of a new tunable capacitor which is fabricated using MEMS technology is presented in this paper. The electrostatically actuated membrane is used in this kind of tunable capacitor. Both of two parallel-plate of the new tunable capacitor can deflect when subject to parallel-plate electrostatic actuation, this is different with the novel parallel-plate tunable capacitor which is only one of the two parallel-plate can deflect. There is a dielectric film between the two parallel-plate of the tunable capacitor. The dielectric film severs to prevent contact between them. The device consists two air gaps, one of them is between the two parallel-plats and the other one is under the below plate.
