抖动的存在影响了数字系统的性能。因此,测试数字系统对抖动的响应是必要的,抖动发生器则是抖动测试中一个重要的环节。本文分析了等效噪声电压与抖动的关系,并由此提出了一种基于等效噪声电压模型的,能控制如峰峰值抖动、周期抖动等抖动特征的实现抖动发生器的新方法。FPGA上的时序仿真验证了该方法的有效性,并能满足设计要求。

he existence of jitter affects the digital systems’ performance. Hence, it is necessary to test jitter’s impact on the digital system. Jitter generator, which is a part of jitter test system, is indispensable. The relationship between the equivalent noise voltage and jitter has been analyzed, and a novel method has been designed to realize the jitter generator based on the equivalent noise voltage model, which can control most of the characteristics of the jitter. The timing simulation on FPGA proved that this method is efficient and can meet the system’s requirement.
