在兰州大学14 MeV D-T中子发生器上,利用14 MeV中子引起的179Hf(n,2n)178Hfm2反应生成的178Hfm2样品。采用内标法以176Hf(n,2n)175Hf作为监督反应,得出179Hf(n,2n)178Hfm2的反应截面。对178Hfm2的衰变性质也做了初步的研究。并对目前生成较大量的178Hfm2作了进一步的阐述。

his paper described the using of fast neutron activation method through 179Hf (n, 2n) 178Hfm2 reaction to produce nuclei-178Hfm2, which has long-lived (T1/2=31y) and high spin (K+=16+) and relatively high excitation energy (2.446 MeV).The experiment was performed on the D-T 14 MeV of neutron generator in Lanzhou University. It was taken a long time to measure the content of 178Hfm2 in the sample, and obtained the cross section of the 179Hf (n, 2n) 178Hfm2 as 5.9 ±0.64 mb. And some of the qualities have been obtained according to the measurement. The way how to get a greater number of 178Hfm2 was concluded in this paper.
