基于功能性理论的FTF和CMC群体决策实验研究

his study focuses on computer-mediated (CMC) group decision-making from the functional perspective, compared with the face-to-face communication (FTF) group decision-making. The dependent variables are time, decision accuracy and members’ satisfaction, which include satisfaction with results, satisfaction with procedure and satisfaction with content. The main conclusions of this study are as the followings: (1) Compared to FTF communication, the functions of discussion are more significantly related to decision time in CMC. (2) Compared to CMC, information bias can influence the decision accuracy more significantly in FTF communication. (3) Either in FTF or CMC, satisfaction with results of group members can be predicted by functions basically the same as those functions predicting the results. (4) Both in FTF and CMC, satisfaction with content and with the procedure of discussion can be predicted by the interpersonal influence within the decision group.
