s one of the core components in modern communication systems, the performance of RF power amplifiers directly affects the overall performance and reliability of communication systems. The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively discuss the optimized design and state-of-the-art applications of RF power amplifiers to meet the ever-increasing communication requirements and technological challenges.In this paper, we provide an in-depth introduction to the fundamentals of RF power amplifiers, including their operating principles, classification, and key features. We then discuss in detail the performance metrics and design considerations of RF power amplifiers, focusing on various factors that must be considered in practical applications. RF power amplifiers often encounter problems such as 1nonlinear distortion in practical applications; therefore, this paper focuses on the currently popular linearization techniques and provides a detailed analysis of their principles and effects. In addition, we discuss some emerging linearization techniques, such as predistortion and adaptive control, and their potential for improving the performance of RF power amplifiers. With the continuous development of communication technology, the design and application of RF power amplifiers are also being innovated.
