可射频拉远的多天线软件无线电系统设计

一般的软件无线电平台中,通常将基带模拟信号采集模块与基带处理模块通过短距离高速接口连接在一起,并且多采用无网络拓扑的接口,因此支持的天线数目有限,不便于进行多天线的灵活扩展。此外,由于一般的板间数据接口不能通过远距离传输,因此无法实现射频基带的拉远,在构建多基站网络时,这就需要每一个基带采集模块都必须连接一个基带处理模块,无疑增加了系统的成本。针对以上问题,本文提出了一种解决方案,以Virtex-6系列FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)作为主控板核心,以Spartan-6系列FPGA作为射频基带混合采集板核心,通过PCI-E(PCI Express)和Aurora高速串行接口,在Linux操作系统下实现了一种可以射频拉远的支持多天线灵活配置的软件无线电系统平台。该系统作为一种高性能多天线软件无线电平台,在高性能PC上实现了基于4G-LTE的通信系统的算法研究与验证。

In general software radio platform, baseband analog signal acquisition module and baseband processing module are usually connected via a short-range and high-speed interfaces together, more use of non-network topology interface, so the number of antenna support is limited, and it is not convenient for multi-antenna extension implementation. In addition, due to the general data interface between the hardware card can't be transferred through a long-distance interference, thus it is unable to implement RRH(Remote Radio Head) and in building a base station network, which requires every baseband module must connect a baseband processing module, there is no doubt that it will increase the cost of the system. This paper proposes a design to solve above problems. In this design, Virtex-6 FPGA is the core of main control board and the Spartan-6 FPGA is the core of RF-baseband mixing acquisition board. Through PCI-E and Aurora high-speed serial interface, a multi-antenna software radio system platform that will support RRH and MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) can be achieved based on the Linux operating system. As a high-performance multi-antenna software radio system platform, it can implement the communications systems research and verification of 4G-LTE algorithms upon a high-performance PC.
