内皮微粒的研究进展及生物学应用
Endothelial microparticles and their biological applications
内皮微粒是活化或凋亡的内皮细胞所释放的膜性囊泡,其直径为100~1,000 nm的膜性囊泡。许多研究表明内皮微粒是反映内皮功能状态的标志物。此外,内皮微粒还可作为效应因子,在炎性反应和血栓形成等过程中发挥重要作用。检测血浆中的内皮微粒水平是新近发展起来的一种评估血管内皮细胞功能障碍的方法。本文主要就内皮微粒的研究进展及其生物学应用做一概述。
Endothelial microparticles (EMPs) are 100-1,000 nm membrane vesicles released by activated or apoptotic endothelial cells. Accumulating evidence suggests that EMPs are biomarkers mirroring the function status of endothelium. Besides, EMPs can also serve as biological effectors in multiple biological processes including inflammation and thrombosis. Plasma EMP levels have emerged as a novel approach for evaluation of endothelial dysfunction. In this paper, recent studies on endothelial microparticles and their biological applications are summarized.
