本文首先概述了目前使用最广泛的组播路由协议PIM-SM的基本流程，之后详细分析了它的源注册过程以及存在的一些问题，在此基础上提出和归纳了相应的优化思想和改进方法。
In this paper, we firstly describe the procedure of PIM-SM briefly, which is the most widely used multicast routing protocol now. Then we give a detail analysis of the PIM-SM source register processing and some problems related to it. Finally, we propose some ideas and solutions which could improve the PIM-SM procedure.
