Effect of SiO2 on the Characteristics of sludge ceramisite

本文从污泥资源化的角度出发,对给水污泥与污水污泥制备陶粒进行了可行性研究。SiO2是污泥原料中含量最高的无机组分,所以文中主要讨论了SiO2含量变化多陶粒性能的影响,分析了不同SiO2含量时原料的热力学性质、陶粒的物理性能、表面形态与耐压强度的变化。结果表明混合物中SiO2的最佳含量范围为22.5%-45%;3种不同SiO2含量的原料的热力学性质只在有机物挥发与碳燃烧阶段有微小差别,其它阶段基本一致;随着SiO2含量的增加,陶粒样品的表面逐渐变得紧凑,耐压强度增加。

From the point of view of the sludge utilizations, the article studies feasibility of the ceramisite making from drinking-water sludge and sewage sludge. SiO2 is the highest content of inorganic components in raw sludge, so the effect of SiO2 content on the characteristics of ceramisite were discussed, and its effect on the thermodynamic properties of raw sludge, physical characteristics, SEM and compressive strength of ceramisite were investigated. Results shown that the optimum range of SiO2 is 22.5%-45%, the thermodynamic properties of raw material with three different SiO2 almost no changing apart from organics volatile and carbon combustion stage. Higher strength ceramsite and more densified surfaces could be obtained as SiO2 contents increase.
