Energy Saving for wireless terminals through handover strategy in LTE-A
本文研究LTE-A异构网络场景下的切换机制对终端能耗的影响。首先通过建立终端上行和下行的能耗模型,得出上行和下行不同的节能方向和准则。在分析异构部署场景模型的基础上,根据上下行的能耗特性,提出一种基于能耗最小的上下行分离切换判决机制。然后将该切换判决机制分别与SINR最大切换判决机制、路径损耗最小切换判决机制进行能耗分析与比较,从理论上证明该切换机制可以降低终端能耗。最后通过仿真表明,根据基站间发射功率差异的不同,该切换判决机制与SINR最大切换判决机制相比的节能效率最高可达35%,最低为10%。
his paper presents an energy efficient handover strategy between LTE-A heterogeneous networks. The proposed handover strategy is based on energy module of uplink and downlink, and separately selects radio access network with low energy consumption for uplink and downlink. The simulation results show that a savings of 10-35% is achieved in the total energy consumption of the wireless terminals.
