In the modern residents of the area of large and medium-sized city, automatic meter reading technology is very popular. For automatic meter reading technology, collector design essential. Because the collector is located in front of the automatic meter reading system, converts residential water use into digital pulse signal, and processes and storages the digital signal, and then transmits it over the network to the host computer. From the function of the collector can be seen, it is composed of the sensor and the pulse processing chip, this paper carries on the analysis and the design of the two parts .
