面向科技自立自强场域的信息资源管理学科嬗变与发展

Purpose/significance The first level discipline of library, information and archives management was renamed as “information resource management”, which provides a new space for expanding the connotation of the discipline and reshaping the discipline system. Method/process Based on literature research and national strategic guidance, the topic of “serving self-reliance in science and technology is an important direction for the development of information resource management discipline” was proposed, and the evolution and development of the discipline’s goal of serving self-reliance in science and technology were observed from three dimensions of history, reality and future. Result/conclusion Facing the field of self-reliance in science and technology, the discipline of information resource management in China has some practical problems, such as vague target orientation, the prominent contradiction between supply and demand, and weak competitiveness. To strengthen the discipline’s effectiveness and better promote the innovation and development of the industry, the following suggestions are made: Facing the real situation, strengthening the discipline system construction; Insisting on absorbing and using for reference, and building an independent knowledge system; Promoting integration and attaching importance to interdisciplinary collaboration; Improving the talent echelon and stimulating the momentum of the discipline development.
