Therefore, this paper put forward a method of positioning for vehicles-the system of vehicles positioning based on WMN.Wireless mesh networks can be flexible and convenient to transfer the traffic information, used this technology to install mesh client equipment on vehicles which need monitor, and structure the urban public transportation communications network. Through this wireless mesh network to transfer vehicle information for real-time, and showed vehicles position information at the same time, which made it is easy to implement vehicle scheduling, alleviate traffic jam, and enhance the traffic safety.
