本文介绍了一种低轨卫星通信系统指数有效信噪比映射(EESM)方法,并将区别于地面信道的低轨卫星空时非平稳信道特征结合到本文方法设计中。首先阐述低轨卫星信道特性对EESM模型参数的具体影响,基于上述分析构建高效系统级仿真EESM模型及具体实现方案。最后根据不同信道场景下的链路仿真结果与AWGN基准曲线的相似程度验证本文所提映射方法的有效性。

This paper introduces an exponential effective signal-to-noise ratio mapping (EESM) method for low orbit satellite communication systems, and combines the space-time non-stationary channel characteristics of low orbit satellites, which are different from terrestrial channels, into the design of this method. Firstly, the specific impact of the channel characteristics of LEO satellites on the parameters of the EESM model is described. Based on the above analysis, an efficient system level simulation EESM model and specific implementation schemes are constructed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed mapping method is verified based on the similarity between the link simulation results under different channel scenarios and the AWGN reference curve.
