微带SIR滤波器具有尺寸小,成本低,易于集成,以及寄生通带远的优点,在微波电路中有着广泛的应用。本文介绍了微带SIR滤波器的基本理论及耦合谐振电路的通用设计方法。在此理论基础上,针对高性能射频滤波器存在的结构复杂、尺寸大的问题,采用开环型SIR结构设计了一款工作于X波段的小型化带通滤波器。同时,为了满足预定的设计指标,结合软件HFSS对该滤波器进行仿真优化。设计的滤波器在相对介电常数为3.55、厚度为0.508mm的RO4003介质板上加工,实际二维面积仅为19mm×8.5mm(0.96λg×0.43λg)。测试结果显示,该滤波器具有低插损、选择性高、以及带外抑制佳的特点,并有可移植性以及工程应用价值。

Microstrip SIR filter has found wide application in microwave circuit with the advantages of compact size, low cost, easily integrated and far parasitic passband. In this paper, both the fundamental theory of microstrip SIR filter and the universal design method for coupled-resonator circuits are introduced. Because of high performance filter' complicated structure and large dimension, a miniaturized spilt-loop SIR bandpass filter worked at X band is designed and developed based on the fundamental theory .Furthermore, the software HFSS is used to simulate this filter for achieving the optimization goal. The proposed filter, whose total size is only 19mm×8.5mm(0.96λg×0.43λg), is designed and fabricated with RO4003 substrate, with a relative dielectric constant of and a thickness of 0.508mm. Simulation and measured results show that the filter has the characteristic of low insertion loss, high selectivity and perfect out-of-band rejection. It has the portability and engineering value simultaneously.
