Effects of exogenous metallothionein on milkability and anti-oxidative status in dairy cattle

选取24头中国荷斯坦奶牛经产泌乳母牛,随机等分为A、B、C、D 4组,分别每头静脉注射经生理盐水溶解的Zn-MT 0 mg(对照)、4.0 mg、8.0 mg和12.0mg,以探讨外源性金属硫蛋白(MT)对奶牛泌乳性能和血清抗氧化指标的影响。结果表明:C组和D组的4%标准乳产量均显著(P<0.05)高于对照组,但各组间的乳脂率无明显差异(P>0.05)。B组、C组和D组血清谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)活性均显著(P<0.05)高于对照组。D组血清过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性分别显著高于B组(P<0.05)和对照组(P<0.01);C组血清CAT活性也显著 (P<0.05) 高于对照组。C组和D组总抗氧化能力(T-AOC)分别显著(P<0.05) 高于对照组和B组。B组、C组和 D组血清丙二醛(MDA)含量均显著(P<0.05) 低于对照组。说明MT不失为一种能够有效调控奶牛泌乳量和抗氧化能力的生理活性物质和高效抗氧化剂。

In order to approach the effects of exogenous metallothionein(Zn-MT) on milkability and anti-oxidative status in dairy cattle,an experiment was conducted with 24 lactating cows from Chinese Holstein which were randomly allocated to group A,groupB, group C and group D,and supplemented Zn-MT 0 mg.capita-1,4.0 mg.capita-1,8.0 mg.capita-1 and 12.0mg.capita-1 by intravenous injection respectively.The results showed that milk yields of the cows in group C and group D were higher(P﹤0.05)than those in group A,while there were no significant differences(P> 0.05) in milk yields between group B and group A and in milkfat percentages amang different groups. Blood GSH-Px activities of the cows in group B, group C and group D were also higher(P﹤0.05)than those in group A. Blood CAT activities of the cows in group D was greater than those in group B(P﹤0.05)and group A(P﹤0.01) respectively, and there was a significant difference (P﹤0.05) in blood CAT activities of the cows between group C and group A. T-AOC levels of the cows in group C and group D were also higher(P﹤0.05)than those in group A and group B. MDA contents in serum of the cows in group B, group C and group D were lower(P﹤0.05)than those in group A.The experimental results suggested that exogenous Zn-MT should be an effective anti-oxidative substance and physiologic accommodation composition for dairy cattle.
