辽宁省钢铁产业集聚的趋势及对技术进步的影响

Based Chinese steel industry data from 2000 to 2012, this paper firstly measures the industrial agglomeration level of Chinese steel industry and market shares of the provinces or cities whose number of steel companies ranks the top five with CR5 index. Secondly, this paper constructs an econometric model to research the influences of concentration on innovation after measuring location entropy and index of technological progress of steel industry in Liaoning Province. The results show that the industrial agglomeration level of Chinese steel industry is not high while rising . Both the industrial agglomeration level and index of technological progress of steel industry in Liaoning Province show inverted U shapes. Industrial agglomeration of steel industry can significantly improve technological progress in Liaoning Province.
