成就性工作态度的儒家文化动力机制

Working attitude is an important cultural driving force for modernization. The culturaltheory of Western modernization holds that it is the professional spirit or achievement work powerbrought by the Protestant ethic culture that promotes the formation of modern society. On theother hand, Confucianism, with its emphasis on hierarchy, tradition and conservatism, is seen as ahindrance to the development of modern Chinese society. This paper uses empirical quantitativemethod to respond to this major theoretical problem. Taking work attitude as the dependentvariable and Confucian ultimate view as the independent variable, through the survey of 4697questionnaires, the following findings are found: Under the premise of provincial fixed effect, Confucian ultimate view has a positive and significant effect on work attitude through theprogressive level of "selffamilysociety". Besides the highest mediating variables are socialresponsibility, professional ethics and career initiative. This mechanism remains stable at the levelof generational change. The modern scientific spirit negatively moderates the effect of theConfucian ultimate view on the work attitude. These results show that Confucianismcan becomethe driving force of modernization development, and its achievement work attitude has its owncultural function mechanism, which needs to overcome the transformation of western scientificrationality.
